Archos Video (QC) 8.1.12

This application is specifically designed to work only with Archos devices that use QC processors. It is not compatible with other devices.

ARCHOS has made the Video Player app available for all Android devices, including tablets, phones, and TVs. The app requires Android 4.0 or later.

The Archos video player app has received critical acclaim and offers a high-quality multimedia experience.

• Hardware accelerated video decoding support for a wide range of devices and video formats.
• Ability to play content from various computer/network storage sources in your network, such as SMB, UPnP, FTP, and SFTP, as well as from external USB storage devices.
• Support for torrent streaming, allowing you to directly open previously downloaded torrent files (please note that the application does not include a torrent search engine).
• Automatic online retrieval of movie and TV show information, including posters and backdrops, for both local and network content.
• Integrated subtitle downloader.
• Network indexing feature that allows you to import remote shared folders (SMB) into your multimedia library.
• Browsing of videos through either folder or library based navigation.
• Easy access to TV shows organized in a series/season/episode hierarchical view.
• Multi-device network video resume functionality.
• A TV-friendly user interface that is compatible with keyboards, remote controls, and Android TV devices.
• Share and keep track of what you have watched using the Trakt scrobbler (see http://trakt.tv/).
• 3D video playback with visual tagging and side-by-side/top-bottom modes, compatible with Archos stereo virtual reality glasses or cardboard support.
• Audio features include night mode and audio boost options.
• Support for Android 5.0 Lollipop with a flat/material user interface design.

Please note that if you encounter any issues with video hardware decoding, you can manually switch to software decoding in the Archos Video Player application settings to watch your video.
